D-Ceptor

Name: Dustin Leinesser Artistname: D-Ceptor Date Of Birth: 26-01-1987 Residence: Aachen//Germany Nationality: German DJ Since: 2006 Styles: Mainstyle//Darkcore//Frenchcore ResidentDJ: Underground House Movement Organisation: Corefreakz-Events References: Winner of the Hardcore DJ Contest 2006 by Important Records, A Nightmare In Rotterdam, Syndicate, Hellraiser, Raving Nightmare, Earthquake, Megarave, Proud 2 Be Hardcore and international gigs in Belgium, Luxemburg, The Netherlands, France, Italy and Russia. Dustin had his first contact with hardcore music in the year 1998 when he visited a school mate in east Belgium. Coincidentally this school friend played a CD he had taken from his older brother. For the first time Dustin got in touch with a hardcore cover song: “Fuck Macarena” by MC Rage; on Thunderdome XV. Since then Dustin knew that he had become hooked on crazy tunes, heavy bassdrums and distorted synths combined with party atmospheric, nice melodies. When he came home he immediately asked all his friends if they knew anything about this exciting music style. Borrowing every Thunderdome CD he could get, Dustin became a big Thunderdome fan and collected the whole series. Three years later, impressed by many party videos, Dustin visited his first hardcore party (Bass Mission) at Blue Palace in Eupen (B). There he listened carefully to the sets of his favourite DJs and saw them spinning the sound he fell in love with. Now it was clear for him: He wanted to become a hardcore DJ as his idols. For Christmas 2001 and his birthday in January 2002 his parents bought the young boy his first two turntables and a battle-mixer. Dustin started his privat career as DJ Sub-Zero spinning demo tapes and producing, inspired by Jason S, digital mixes. In summer 2005, after producing a lot of digital mixes, spreading them through the world wide web, the name Sub-Zero wasn’t individual enough for Dustin. He looked up in certain dictionaries where he found the nice word ”deception” that fitted exactly to his mixing-skills. His best friend helped him to arrange the name DJ Deception in a more special way and they decided to change it into DJ D-Ceptor (“D” as an initial for Dustin; “Ceptor” for the person who brings skilled deceptive transitions). In July 2005, when Dustin visited the Raving Nightmare Party at TarmCenter Köln/Frechen, he heard that an old friend (DJ Newstyler) had his first gig there. And he couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw his friend performing in the talent area. It was always Dustin’s biggest ambition to spin at an official hardcore party and his friend had reached this goal. So he decided to write an application letter including a DemoMix to Underground House Movement. UHM answered quickly and for the first time D-Ceptor got booked. He should spin at the Catscan – I Magnify Party in February 2006. In the same month, a new club in Eynatten Belgium (Club Quinta) reopened after a long time and Dustin checked out this club with his friends. He got in contact with the owner of the club and asked him if it was possible to spin there. After listening to D-Ceptor’s Demo, the owner wanted him to become his resident DJ. Dustin formed more and more contacts on the internet and got booked via a Hardcore community by Fallout from Corefreakz-Events. And so the Corefreakz story began. Mid 2006 he won the Hardcore DJ Contest of Important Records that took place in Cosmo Club (Turbinenhalle Oberhausen). More gigs, also international, followed. 2007 his number of bookings rushed rapidly. His name was now seen on big events all over germany. He joined the Corefreakz-Crew where he began organizing and arranging his own parties. January 2008 D-Ceptor became a member of the UHM residents where he continues his way upstairs. This membership was a big step forward in his career. His performances in Italy, at Syndicate, Megarave and A Nightmare In Rotterdam were the hights of this succesful year. February 2009 after one year of practicing producing own tracks, two pieces of his work were released on "Hardcore Made In Germany - Volume 02" compilation. After that he started first projects together with Newstyler, Triax, Gigi and Fallout. The first result was a release on new label Important Hardcore Limited [IMPHCLTD], behind the name "raw Tunes" stands the interpretation of D-Ceptor and his friends. "This Time" by D-Ceptor is featured on this EP which was released December 2009. The year 2010 starts also very turbulent with 2 performances in Russia. Furthermore the D-Ceptor XXIII concept took place in THE legendary location Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen. According to Raving Nightmare - Man's Inhumanity event in march [UHMR009] EP was released including first cooperation by Triax vs. D-Ceptor & Newstyler "Our Game" as A1 track. On 5th May the first show of "German Hardcore Gangsters" by D-Ceptor & Newstyler was broadcasted on hardcoreradio.nl Up to now D-Ceptor is still a UHM resident DJ and a member of the Corefreakz-Crew but that wasn't it at all. His aims got bigger and furthermore he wants to magnify his spectrum of experiences in the hardcore scene...
